Spring Transition Outfits From Nordstrom To Wear Now – 50 IS NOT OLD

In parts of the country, it is already 80 degrees or more, while other parts have temps in the 30s. Mother nature loves to play tricks on us during Spring with wildly fluctuating temperatures. It was beautiful here in Virginia yesterday, but on Monday, it is going back to the 20s with the possibility of a few snow flurries. So what’s a person to do? Here are three spring transition outfits from Nordstrom to wear now until Spring has finally sprung in full force.

Spring Transition Outfits From Nordstrom With Cuffed Jeans

Simple, casual, and oh, so cute! That is my description of this spring transition outfit from Nordstrom. The sweater is great for days when the temperatures drop, but the cropped cuff jeans and pointy-toe flats keep the outfit looking Spring-ish.

On cool Spring days, I like to add something warm and cozy. This navy with white striped Roll Neck Sweater is the perfect weight to keep me warm but not overly hot. It is soft, which is a must-have in my book. Stripes are having a moment this spring, so you’ll be seeing them a lot in the stores. I’m wearing a medium which fits perfectly.

You know I’m a big believer in adding jewelry to every outfit. The Large Hoop Earrings and Mother of Pearl Pendant Necklace have become a staple in my looks this Spring. It is rare for me not to be wearing my 18kt Gold Vermeil Cross Necklace, even when I sleep. Click here to see more of my favorite Kendra Scott jewelry.

I can’t get enough of cuffed jeans! These Distressed Back Seam Girlfriend Jeans by Liverpool are fabulous! I love the distressed “much-loved” wash and the split cuff in the back. This is the trend I am most excited about this year!!! I’m wearing my usual size 8, and they fit great. Not too tight and not too loose.

Casual Spring Transition Outfits From Nordstrom With Linen

I’m a little surprised I like this outfit. Actually, I love this outfit, and I’ve already worn the entire outfit a couple of times. It is casual and put-together looking at the same time.

This outfit isn’t as warm as the first one, so it would be best for days when it is cool in the morning but warmer in the afternoon. The navy Linen Blend Button-Up Shirt is so versatile and can be worn open like I am here, buttoned up half or all the way, or tied at the waist.

I added a light steel Cotton Ribbed Tank under the shirt for extra warmth, but I can wear the shirt without it this spring and summer when the temperatures are warmer. This tank will be great this summer with shorts, etc., and the medium fits me perfectly.

It doesn’t look like the raw hem jeans trend is going anywhere. These are crop flare jeans, and I love the slight flare at the hem that helps to balance out your hips. If you’re looking for a nice pair of jeans at a reasonable price, these are under $50.

Spring Transition Outfits From Nordstrom With Stripes

My last outfit is nautical looking. The sailor button style jeans with the striped Henley sweater would be perfect for strolling on a dock at the marina. If there isn’t a dock in sight, you can still wear this outfit and pretend you are getting ready to board a yacht.

It is a matter of preference, but I prefer a navy background with white stripes over a white background with navy stripes. The Stripe Henley Sweater is lightweight and casual, plus the sleeves have a slight puff to them at the cuff. I felt like the medium was slightly too big for me, but it could have been because I had the sweater unbuttoned.

I’ve always loved sailor-styled pants and jeans, but I’ve struggled with the tummy pooch. The ‘Ab’Solution Button Trim Flare Jeans did a great job of holding my stomach in for a smooth, almost flat, look. These jeans are by Wit & Wisdom, and I love their jeans. They fit fabulous and have just enough give to them, but they don’t sag and get baggy. Plus, they are medium priced jeans; these are $98 and worth every penny in my book.

I found some more items that would make great Spring transition outfits and I’ll link to those below.
