The scene was set early for a mighty clash between the Indigenous and Maori All stars at Queensland Country Bank Stadium with both sides facing off in a powerful pre-game performance.

Both teams walked out onto the field side-by-side before taking their places.

The Indigenous players took centre stage first, performing an inspiring Unity Dance led by Titans star Jaime Chapman and veteran forward Talisha Harden.

The Maori women responded with a powerful Haka led by Raiders playmaker Zahara Temara and Roosters prop Mya Hill-Moana.

“Off the back of that I feel so emotional,” retired rugby league icon Sam Bremner said on Fox League’s coverage.

“I’ve got goosebumps and my hands are sweating. It’s so great to see how much this game means to both teams.”

After a sloppy start to the game it was the Indigenous All Stars that eventually clicked into gear, shooting out to a comfortable lead by half time.
