Salary
Range:
$40.00/hour

Job Description:
The primary duties include instructing dog grooming classes,
recruiting students, and maintaining equipment inventory for the program. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and work with
minimal supervision. The instructor will also schedule and promote continuing education for area professional dog groomers. In addition,
while it is planned to hold classes during the day, this position may require some evenings and some weekend hours.

Required
Qualifications:

  • Three years in the dog grooming industry
  • Master groomer certification recognized by one of the
    following: National Dog Grooming of America Association (NDGAA), International Society of Canine Cosmetologists
    (ISCC) or American Kennel Club (AKC)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
    skills and ability to articulate in both small and large group settings and with diverse groups of people including co-workers, students,
    business contacts and at various levels from front-line to administration
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to
    multi-task, to meet deadlines, to maintain and access paper and electronic files, to produce error-free final products, and to manage time
    and output
  • Ability to pass a background check, have a valid US driver’s license and good driving record

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
    (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of helping other people
